Taxing food.
We've talked about this before.
Tax food, and you take from people who can least afford it. Everyone must eat.
Tax soap? Tax medicines?
There will be a list of exemptions for necessities. If it's a good enough list, I could probably work with that too.
Also, the reporting rules would be a nightmare, but that would just mean more government employees! (Do little Tina and Jimmy have to collect tax at their lemonade stand?)
And the days of tax-free internet sales would be so over.
