And perhaps too much religion
I remember being struck several episodes back by the relative portrayals of polytheism and monotheism, the staging of the latter as the insurgent newcomer into a polytheistic culture. I'd wondered if this was part of the setup for the final revelations, so to speak, or reflective of Christian beliefs by Moore or other writers; but I didn't expect the flaccid copout "oh yeah, God was pulling everybody's strings, have a nice day."
Huh...my attitude seems to be getting more negative the more I think about it, so maybe I'll give it a rest for a while. I shouldn't do a 180 and suddenly hate BSG just because of the finale. Deep breath....
