As far as I can see, every damn question down that entire page of polls that has to do with confidence that Social Security will be there for us in the future, is overwhelmingly negative.

More importantly, these negative answers go back as far as 1999 (June 10-15 CBS News Poll).

This isn't about faith in financial systems. You have to admit that 1999 was hardly a peak year for lack of faith in financial systems.
