Comparing the socialist model to the capitalist model, you get more for your money via the capitalist model. More trash pick-up, air conditioned hospitals, no second class recipients of health care and other services.
And believe me, in summer it gets unbearable in the millions of non air-conditioned apartment complexes and places around Germany. It's simply Techno-culturally Europe has been 2 decades behind America since WWII.
Living conditions, health hazards, convenience and quality of life are still catching up with the best of the US.
