My trash collection is much more socialistic.

I pay my city the same amount that everyone else does. They let me discard pretty much as much trash as I like. If I discard more than average, then my neighbors are "forced" to subsidize my extra use of our shared resource. Sounds like the incentive system in place in Germany has more of a capitalistic model.
