It's not sinking in.
Sometimes people need to get what they wish for. We may need a socialist system to be put in place, to collapse and for millions to die or suffer due to the collapse of medical services entirely. When suddenly their doctor appointment isn't in a week - but four months. And when the ER visit means waiting 104 hours before being seen by an stressed out doctor who will be going through the motions.
The most anti-socialist, anti-communist folks are those living in Rumania, Estonia, Latvia and other former communist controlled hell holes on Earth. They've lived through the BS. Folks here clearly don't quite grasp the magnitude of things until they experience them for themselves.
