Re: Re: Blatantly misleading TV Ad

Just watch and see.

When someone is forced to pay and another gets it for free, how long do you think those paying will continue to pay? And if they force an income limit the same thing will happen - people unable to afford insurance or will be going broke paying for government mandated insurance. Like car insurance, there will be constant lapses and people going around with nothing until they get some money in.

No, once you go social like this everyone will expect to get something for nothing. The only ones paying will be those in super premium insurances that can be promised better service than the rest. And what does that create?

The German system. Where two levels of health care are available - the cr---y free services and the "you pay for it" quality health care. The generic drugs, untested stuff and worse will be hoisted on the freebies and those paying for premium will get the name brand, safer and more potent drugs.

And yes, you are right, catching more fish is the answer. But our fishermen right now have limits on the size and age of their bait, the length of their pole and the hours and places they can fish. Take away some of the burden on our nation's fishermen and then we can ask more of them.
