Re: Re: Re: Re: It's not sinking in.

If we can't we can't, but at this juncture, the majority of Americans would like to have a health system for everyone.

Of course they do. Just like they want everyone to have food, shelter, education, and everything else that makes life good. Where things get wooly is when the discussion turns toward what method of doing things is most likely to have this result.

As long as the premise of "dialogue" is "how can the government best impose a health care system on the entire nation," the dialogue is going nowhere as far as I'm concerned.

There is no national dialogue on what foods we should all eat, or what car we should all drive, although that seems to be coming down the pike. The dialogue takes place between me and those I buy these goods and services from. Why should my health care be any different?

The political tension right now goes far beyond the health care issue. The philosophy of the current leadership of the Democratic Party has never been as blatant as it has in the past year. Personally, I consider the tension a sign of health. There are plenty of nations where the people would just go along like sheep.
