Well, now that's crap!
I've believed for a long-time that the FDA needs to be torn apart and rebuilt. The assholes who run it are M.D.'s who either came from Big Pharma or when they leave the FDA, will GO to Big Pharma. The whole process is skewed and when you have Big Pharma M.D.'s policing itself, you've got a screwed up system that's going to cost the consumer $$$ and lives.
The approval process may need streamlining but we still have to be careful. Lest you forget how many people died from Vioxx before they got it off the market... They rush to market and people pay with their lives.
