You seem to be an expert in how I think.

I don't think most of political screwups are about "evil." I think it's about stupidity and ignorance, and treating ideas like religious or totally abstract academic concepts instead of things that can be tested in reality.

Nancy Pelosi (just to pull someone out of the hat) is not an evil person. She is someone who has shut off the parts of her brain that make the sort of connections that allow learning and concept formation to take place. The sort of person who will keep trying the same failed ideas over and over again although the results are written large across our history and the history of the world.

A collectivist is, almost by definition, someone who has chosen not to play with all the marbles in their bag.

You do not have to declare someone evil to state that they should not be controlling our society, any more than you need to declare an untrained 15-year-old evil to state that he should not be flying a jet plane full of passengers.
