I like this way much better - sticking to the design issues, in a civil tone -

I think I'll take the opinions of the engineers who have spent hours doing computer modeling of this craft over yours as to whether this craft would have obtained hyersonic speeds -

If you equipped DC-X with a solid escape motor and parachutes for the manned/unmanned payloads, you might have enough abort modes -

Still, landing DC-X anywhere near the launch facilies would have put them at risk -

I doubt if market conditions are going to be such in the near term for either project to go forward without government backing - which will leave the US at a competitive disadvantage when the market picks back up -

Well, Phil, at least the EELVs are coming online - and I'm sure that some of the leaders of the rogue states out there would love to see the US military dependant on CATS systems -
