Re: Starting to get annoying now

<...Or the always popular, Well, either they will be vigilant or there'll be another 9-11. Is that what you want?

Tell me Bowser, what the hell do YOU want? You've ranted on in many posts how the cops dropped the ball by not investigating every last lead down to the quantum level and passing every bit of information between every Federal Agency. In other words, condemning their lack of omniscience. Remember? Not living up to their "responsibilities?"

Then you alternate this rant with rants about how the cops are rotten bastards who are picking on Muslims and violating their rights by checking them out under suspicous circumstances. Given the information they were given in Florida, what other course would YOU have taken?

Could it be maybe the cops are a little defensive about being ragged on about dropping the ball? Maybe they're a bit concerned about something ghastly getting past them and the usual gang of idiots dragging them across the hot coals for it? Not to mention responsibility for maybe thousands of deaths?

Now for being a little overcautious they get to have their balls broken by Jesse Jackson, the ACLU, and people like you. Oh, yeah, sure. They lied about everything. They lied about the toll booth, and the dog smelling TNT. The cops just LOVE searching cars for high explosives, possible radioactives, or maybe, with a lot of luck, some virulent deadly disease. So they go out of their way to stop innocent victims so they can do this.

How would YOU deal with it? What would be the level of evidence YOU would need to bust these guys? Immigrants taking flying lessons wasn't all that suspicious before September 11 either, and guys like you would have been the first ones to scream about civil rights if the FBI has swept all the Mideasterners out of the flight schools and started questioning them. On suspicion of what? What evidence could they have held up to the ACLU that would have held up any better than this woman's suspicions?

What the hell do you people WANT?

I await your inevitable, completely off-the-point answer.
