I find it amazing
The American people, especially those who don't live in major metropolitan areas on the coasts, are the font of all wisdom, except when they vote for Democrats. Then they are moronic rubes. Or, to use a wonderful British expression I learned from Louise Rennison, "gormless oiks".
Has it occurred to anyone that people who vote for Democrats are voting either for people they, using their best judgment, believe will represent their interests (the purpose of representative democracy) or against the Republicans out of sheer frustration?

Mary Anne
