Lets pay no taxes....where do you think we'd be? All I am saying is we have the luck to live in the greatest nation on earth. I consider taxes part of that honor...
I mean really, it is undeniable that of the 5-6 billion people in the world we are way better off! <No offense Raoul, but the european cars are pretty disappointing! and your supermarkets need improvement>

I love being able to do what I choose... If I have to pay taxes to support our government that seems fair...is there waste and innefficiency? YES! Should that be reduced? Yes! I am just saying that if you live in the best country in the world then you better support it! We are the best for a reason.... Our country has allowed us to be the most affluent on the planet... dont you think we owe a bit to keep it so?

If we have to spend money to keep people from starving on the streets I am willing to pay because I think we are too good to have that kind of image...we define the world and have done so for a while, I am willing to pay to ensure we set the standards....If we are viewed as less than the best then others will set the standards...That is why I pay taxes but push to see my money spent on what I want advocted....

How many people directly benifitted from the moon launches? I mean monetarily? That was just a project for prestige...was it worth our taxes? I think so....30+ years later the only people on the moon were american, I think that says a lot! We are the best at most things... other countries lose their best and brightest because they come here for an education and stay!

You can complain about taxes, but until you boycott what they have brought you (ie. nasa internet interstate highways, etc...on and on...) You will not have much credibility with me....

You have to pay for what you want... what could be more republican than that?

You live in the best, most affluent country in the world- quit complaining and enjoy it! So what if you pay 40% of your income in taxes- doesnt the fact that you make more in a day than a lot of people get in a year make you feel better? (and they probably come home a lot more tired than you do!)

We pay for what we have, and I am happy with what we have... We lead the world in every area that counts... So I have little patience for those that complain about what they pay to be affluent and a member of the best and wealthiest country- because if they didnt pay they would have nothing!
