Then why not tax everyone at 100%?
Under your premise, we'd then have a utopia, right?
Or is 100% too high? If so, then what level of taxation do you think is appropriate?
Remember, every dollar taken for the government is a dollar that comes out of the economy, gets filtered and skimmed to pay for the bureaucrats, and then the remainder gets redistributed primarily as political patronage. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
