I am also bothered by both. Where we differ is that I find right wing extremists stupid and transparent. Left wing extremist are, IMO, often very intelligent and devious. They are, (again IMO,) far more dangerous.
Right wing extremists are usually blatently prejudiced and heap insults on anyone unlike themselves. You can see them coming a mile away.
Many left wing extremists are closet elitists who pretend to be social benefactors while they really want a closed society with the intelligenzia dictating with pure contempt to the proles As I have said before, it is much like the old south's benign, "White Man's Burden" attitude. Now it is the "Burden of the Enlightened".
Remember I am talking about extremists and no one on this board is included.
