I agree the Fiat Panda is unconfortable, stalls very often and doesn't push much. But it is cheap! The Opel Vectra is very confortable, pushy, easy to drive, never stalls, (hard on cobblestones, true) but it is expensive.
I've experienced both and both are Europeans.
