Sorta like mugging a Girl Scout and then buying some cookies?

With her own money?

After giving a bunch to friends for overhead and profit for handling her funds and buying the cookies?

And then wanting to be named "Philanthropist of the Year"?

Now, I realize this analogy has failings. Iraq is not a Girl Scout, and a school is not a cookie, and oil isn't money. And there is no "Philanthropist of the Year" award in this area of which I'm aware.

So, the analogy fails. To be accurate it would have to say:

"Sort of like bombing the bejeesus out of a country, invading it, bombing the bejeesus out of it some more, taking it's resources, selling them, raking off "overhead and profit", and then building a school, again raking off "overhead and profit".

That might be closer.
