re: Human Rights committee

Every time I read about the argument about Lybia sharing the human rights committee, I remember Sergio De Mello's interview on BBC World, several weeks before his death in Baghdad.

He said that the Lybian at the Human Rights commission is a woman (from a Muslim country, mind you) and was not representing her country (that's also not what they're supposed to be doing) and she was not alone and none of her colleagues from democratic countries could fault her.

They were among the last words I heard from him before he died.
