Not that I meant 99 % of the time, but I do think Raoul skirts the tough questions more than half the time. What is your non-personal attack grammer for pointing this out? Sorry but I don't think such topics have to be avoided to have a rational civil debate.
Please note I still see no response from Raoul on how ineffective the UN has been. When you take a stance in a rational debate you defend it against legitimate arguements against your case if you really want to get at the truth of the matter. Lawyers may avoid key opponant arguements as a matter of course, scientists and engineers are supposed to face them head on. I prefer the latter approach, but understand Raoul's responses may be a matter of habit rather than intentional in this forum. I also think he prefers to avoid confrontation here unlike so many others here including me. I have no hard feelings toward Raoul and I doubt I ever could have any strong long term anger at him, because I believe his statements are honest opinions not gamesmanship. I doubt I ever could feel more short term irritation towards him in a confrontational situation than I feel about this avoidance issue. Unfortunately his avoidance of key issues makes his style similar in some ways to those interested only in winning a debate rather than finding the truth or a better understanding of the issues.

Mark

I was intentionally pointing out a pattern
