Did the UN bring peace to Yugoslavia, Somalia, or Ruanda without US involvement? Not that the US was involved in all cases, but I don't recall a major mess cleaned up or prevented by the UN in recent years without the US leading it or being the major factor in it.
What personal attack? I am very frustrated by what I consider you avoiding tough questions on your stances because I think you are a sincere and honest person with whom it should be possible to have a rational debate. That's not possible though when you avoid the tough questions with regard to your stance. I don't consider pointing this out a personal attack. It's not intended as a major insult nor a means of dismissing your opinion, just a yank to get you to engage fully on the issues.

Mark
