Former New York Times UberArschAffe Howell Raines writes of John Kerry:
...As America's first war-hero candidate since John F Kennedy, he ought to be leading the national discussion on what went wrong in Iraq.
This no doubt is news to George H. W. Bush and Bob Dole, who were genuine war heroes in their own right, and Gerald Ford, who served in the Navy in the South Pacific during WWII.
This kind of lie is just so easy. Simple omission. Pretty soon you start hearing Kerry called the "only war hero since John F. Kennedy" in speeches.
The rest of the column is similarly ludicrous, but you can read that yourself. The gist of it is that if you can fake sincerity, the rest of the lying is easy.
