Some corrections

He was around 5'9, not tall but not short. He did in fact have blue eyes, his eyes were "extremely" blue and the first thing most people said they noticed about him. The fact that he had black hair probably made them stand out even more.
As for the Jehovah's Witnesses, they must have knocked on his door one too many times.
