You make some very good points in your comparisons of the two systems.
My point is that all the shields are up, now. Especially in Europe. Nobody is ever going to let a Nazi within a mile of power again. Sure, there are still Nazi-in-all-but-name parties in Europe and elsewhere. Think they will ever win an election?
And most important, from my point of view in America, no Nazi will ever darken the doors of a university campus.
This is a very good thing.
Now, if we can keep the monsters from the other side from educating our children, I'll be satisfied. For every freak like Churchill who makes the newspapers, there are hundreds who don't. All teaching our kids.
