re: advocates for dictatorship

(as you well know since you've opted for the work-from-home situation .. that gives more personal freedom but then you lose out on all the interactions and bonding with people at the workplace)

Yeah, I don't get to interact with anybody sitting here. ;)

There are a lot of ways to advocate something.

A Nazi analogy for the "polite" Marxist would not be a salute-throwing professor with a picture of Hitler on his wall. It would be someone gently insinuating a poisonous philosophy into his teaching, like a Marxist does. I can find a lot of examples of students being taught this way, slowly, to hate their own country and values.

Perhaps he would toss in a little something about how some races are inherently superior to others, without even bringing up Aryans or non-Aryans at all. The idea is bad enough on its own, and leads down the same roads. Maybe he could add some slightly slanted history of Jews or non-whites. This last is VERY big in some Arab schools, BTW.

I have an anti-collectivist and anti-totalitarian agenda. Period.

If I seem more anti-leftist, it's because I run into a hell of a lot more radical leftists in everyday life and in positions of influence than I do Nazi-types.

The Nazis in America are relegated to basements and cheesy internet sites. When they pop out, they are quickly chased back into their holes. I'll start to worry when David Duke has the ghost of a chance of gaining national office. I don't see them as that much of a threat today, although constant vigilance is never a bad idea.
