final point - please read

He equated the people working in the World Trade Center on 9-11 as "Little Eichmanns" because they were capitalists, therefore they had to be equated with Nazis and obviously deserved being murdered.

Note that any true marxist must by definition totally reject that, for 2 reasons - firstly, because obviously the WTC people were of the working class, and secondly because Marx, Lenin et al absolutely rejected individual terrorism as useless and counterproductive (as it inevitably results in greater state security control over the people). And this is historically true, ie. even from the 19th century when 'individual terrorism' meant only assinating the Tsar or some hated police chief. How much more MUST they condemn the Islamists, or the IRA, or McVeigh - otherwise they are vicious hypocrites who are not even disciplined in their own ideology.

Now, regarding the spirit and tone of this quote, 2 more points - first, the stupid and gutless tendency of some leftwingers to characterise any authoritarian government or person as 'fascist' or 'Nazi' - well that is so stupid, they have no idea of what American soldiers discovered when they liberated the death camps, and for that matter have no idea of what fascism really is and what it does to society and the working classes in particular.

Secondly, regarding the severe nastiness of his sentiment - I've noticed some people with this attitude .. these are people with no hope of actually improving the world and the lives of others, they are too weak and gutless to really change the world for the better, and quite content to sit back in their nice comfort zones while calling the WTC terrorists 'brave'. My sympathies there.
