Robert I understand your wanting to give Lee the benefit of the doubt, however when he writes stuff like this:
Hitler was but a man, in time he would've died, but Germany and the rest of Western Europe would have gone on. The peoples of Western Europe would've had a secure future in a Europe under German leadership. It's a far cry from what they've got now. So yes, I would've chosen the lesser of two evils if I had the chance.

there just isn't much doubt left to give him the benefit of. Anyone who thinks present day Europe is more evil than Nazi Europe is either insane or a fanatic. There is no rationality to his position.
