I agree
I'm not ready to let this water go under the bridge. Certainly not without Lee explaining his past posts.
In the following quote, Lee distances himself from Hitler, but believes Europe is worse off than the NAZIs. A free Europe vs a Europe full of slavery and death camps. I know which one I'd choose.
Keep your noses out of the soldiers' business and let the generals fight the war. The war was Germany's to win had he not interfered. Hitler snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, and now Europe is paying for his stupidity.

When called on it he spewed the following while trying to justify Nazis werent as bad as Commies, so they weren't bad afterall.
A strong victorious Germany had far more to offer Western civilization than the weak and petty worms that fed off of its corpse. Stalin, and the hell spawn he produced , did far more damage than anything the Reich had planned. Without a Soviet victory, Mao, Kim, Po Pot, or any of the other communist regimes would've never come to power. The domino we tipped over did far more damage than had we left it alone.
Rome wasn't the most humane empire either, but we're far better off today than had it never existed.

And in a deeper thread of the same argument he says:
Hitler was but a man, in time he would've died, but Germany and the rest of Western Europe would have gone on. The peoples of Western Europe would've had a secure future in a Europe under German leadership. It's a far cry from what they've got now. So yes, I would've chosen the lesser of two evils if I had the chance.

But what about all those Europeans who's hair was turned to pillows and ashes made into fertilizer. Whose labor was forced out of them through slavery, who's family were slaughtered at the Nazis whims. At least their gold fillings and artwork would help secure Lee's European's future though. According to Lee, Europe was far better off because of their contributions. Not that they had a say in the matter.
Then after his earlier distancing from Adolph, Lee can't seem to help but to gush about the man:
He was around 5'9, not tall but not short. He did in fact have blue eyes, his eyes were "extremely" blue and the first thing most people said they noticed about him. The fact that he had black hair probably made them stand out even more.http://www.habitablezone.com/offtopic/messages/330575.html
Anyway, this was just from the thread I had bookmarked. There have certainly been others.
