It is a Methodist church. Methodist are considered pretty liberal next to the Catholic church. However, our members are mostly (but not all) Republicans. (My community is mostly Republicans).

My preacher has said he doesn’t care if we believe God made man through Evolution or Creation. He said that is not what is important. When we argue about that kind of thing we loose sight of what is important. Understanding Jesus’ salvation is what is important.

We welcome anyone into our church. We have even had Jewish come to our church.

The last wedding I went to was a Catholic wedding. I felt rather offended when the preacher there said, “If you belong to the Catholic Church, you may come up and take Communion.†My church would never do that. Anyone can come up and take Communion.
