I was offended by Donald’s broad brush approach to conservative Christians.

I am a Republican Christian, yet I don’t fit Donald’s mold he makes of us. That was my whole objection to his post.

He did say "The Christian right's goal is to turn this nation into its own form of theocracy. It wants to deny the teaching of science in our public schools. Its wants to dictate to Americans what they can and can't do as consenting adults in the privacy of their own bedrooms. Its wants to prevent you from being able to choose what you read and watch on television. It wants intercede in the middle of intensely difficult end-of-life choices faced by families every day. "

True, there are many conservative Christians who might fit his mold, but there are many, many of us who do not. I would bet most of us do not fit that mold. The ones I know personally do not.

I am a Christian on the right side of the political wing.

I do not want to "turn this nation into its own form of theocracy".

I taught science in our public schools. I even taught Evolution, and that was here in the Bible Belt.

I really don't care what you do in your own bedroom, and I really don't want to know about it either.

With end-of-life choices, I want the law to be very careful of this so that people don't take adavantage of it, ie. "Lets kill off Uncle Joe so we can inherit his money." or "Lets kill of my spouse so I can collect the insurance."
