I'm beginning to feel like I'm on the wrong side of one of those "all [choice of ideological group here] are scum -- oh, except you" arguments.

I've walked in the shoes Robert is wearing myself, on a different road. They are pinchy, smelly, and lost their arch support long ago. Nobody would choose them. Sometimes they're the only pair people will let you wear.

You're correct, Robert's church doesn't fit Donald's, or Sen. Danforth's, description. What does it say about the state of religious tolerance in the US, that he could believe it does?
