re: Da Vinci's Last Supper
Some time ago, a publicist put a huge billboard in Paris, representing a painting similar to Da Vinci's Last Supper.
A catholic association sued the publicist. A first instance rejected it, but a second agreed and forced the publicist to withdraw the billboard.
It was a matter of free press versus religion. Settles at the tribunal, not in the streets.
