Admittedly Islam is a changing religion as is Catholiscism. (SP?)
Therefore, we must really study the writings of those who proclaim that they speak for the religion to fully understand it's relationship to the world around us...The history is much less important than the direction that it is going.
So tell me Most knowledgable, what the unknowing infadels such as myself are to make of a religion which promotes or allows to be promoted, people who say things like THIS???
Your teacher wasn't a Muslim. What makes him an expert any more on this subject than I or anyone else? Because he lived in a Muslim country at one time in his earlier days?

You may be surrounded by books, oh Most Knowledgeable, but there is must you much learn; For, reading and listening to things on many different levels of communication all at once is a skill that I would expect a "well-read" individual such as yourself to understand.
