I had english teachers in school who were convinced that I was going nowhere because I couldn't spell very well...
I never got a better grade in English class than a "C+" until I went to the University and invested in a spell checker. After that, I recieved all A's in every class that required some form of written communication.
Incredible really, but looking back, all I can think of is: How many brilliant writers, scientists, and truely creative people were stiffled by those English and other "teachers" who were really nothing more than book-wormish idiots...
Try writing something creative and interesting sometime. Maybe I'll read it. Probably not.
