Perhaps a fully libertarian society "where the productive members are free to produce for their own ends" is a utopian ideal that can never exist in the real world. Sort of like the socialist paradise where everyone produces according to his ability and receives according to his need.
Even if the society started out that way, Og would get in cahoots with the medicine man and the chief and see to it that he had no competition and no alternate products were allowed. The chief and the shaman and their gang of braves would get free meat for enforcing Og's rules and providing security, while everyone had to pay Og half the game they killed for access to increasingly shabbier projectile points.
Socialism, as we know it, is a 19th century invention, and it arose as a reaction to the abuses of capitalism. Capitalism has been with us in some form since the dawn of civilization, but can you point to any society where the libertarian ideal was achieved?
In fact, the closest we've ever gotten to it is right now, with a capitalism tempered and controlled by regulation and a democratically elected government.
