When you list the defining characteristics of anti-Americanism as:
A) Premarital sex is a-ok.
B) Pacifism is superior to conflict
C) The previous generations morals & goals are obsolete.
I will freely admit that I agree (to a degree) that A, B, C are agreeable to me, so by your daffynition I must be anti-American, right?
A. Sex is indeed a-ok. Marital, premarital, extramarital: These are social conventions and impact emotional situations according to one's enculturation. The social conventions and their religious barriers are problematic and fraught with thorns, but when you can isolate them and deal with them, at the end of the day sex is still a-ok in my book.
B. Pacifism is superior to conflict. Damn right boyo. If it is anti-American to reject your "War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Lies are the New Truth" right wing leadership then I guess I am anti-American. And may I throw into the pot that this person you are calling anti-American is a veteran and you are not. So, how does that play to your credibility? This writer finds agreement with Karl von Clausewitz that war is always a result of political failure. Your mindset equates political failure as success.
C. The previous generation. Sorry, I don't endorse slavey, Klu Klux Klan, Genocide, burning churches, synagogues, or books. I favor fondly the overturn of Plessey v Ferguson.
All in all, in the terms expressed by an arrogant right wing extreme Republican I have been cast as anti-American. I reject this sir. If I am anti-American it is in the same category as Thomas Paine, Jefferson, Franklin and many others.
I suggest you find a new category for us.
