It has been "proven" mathematically here that nuclear power can not increase the kinetic energy of water or air.
NO it hasnt, whats been PROVEN is that this does not matter when compared to natural factors... Release a few trillion tons of Polonium and it will heat up real good (Dont let the fact that we can only produce a few hundred grams a year stop you from going into hysterics)
Oh, wait a minute-- I think it was that billions of gigawatts of kinetic energy released into the environment is like pissing in the ocean.
See, this is what makes me scream- you make these extreme claims and yet you at the same time make it clear that you have NO idea about what you are talking about....
A Watt is NOT a measure of energy... it is a measure of POWER. A Watt is Joules per second- JOULES are energy. Lets Assume that you meant power- you didnt, clearly, because you never listened to the posts of others that have corrected you on this issue over the years... A car going 60 mph, is not defined as going 60 miles
billions of gigawatts of kinetic energy released into the environment....
hmmmm, man that sounds like a lot- in fact BILLIONS OF GIGAWATTS is approximately the POWER the sun delivers to us - the funny thing is, human consumption of POWER- nuke plants and all- is about 12-20 terawatts - damn- those prefixes confuse you, dont they... ? Care to calculate how that number compares to what the sun delivers?
The reason why global warming is an issue is that we are increacing, by a few percent, the amount of the sun's energy we trap on our planet- We are doing this because people like you, the uneducated, fear the word 'nulear'...
Here is a bit of advice- GET AN EDUCATION BEFORE YOU GET A CRUSADE.

A pleasant reply, in which I do not use the word MORON (aside from the title)
The whole thread (74 posts)
- I was always a skeptic of Global Warming
- got snow?
- Why yes, we do.
- It is in the 80's in SoCal today. (n/t)
- No wonder, you're smack dab right in the middle of the Rocky Mountain foothills

- If the atmospheric density has decreased there is a very easy way to measure it.
- You did not address my points why should we take you seriously?, (n/t)
- I'm skeptical...
- re: A pleasant reply,
- Nuclear reactors don't release radioactive material in normal operation.
- A pleasant reply, in which I do not use the word MORON (aside from the title)
- Actually, it's a bit unusual.
