Conservatives help the poor by donations. Usually through our churches. My church sponsors between 70 and 80 homeless families a year. We house them and help them get jobs so they can get back on their feet.
Our program does have requirements. They have to be a family. They have to stay off drugs and they have to work with us- they have to show some effort.
Other churches in my conservative community so their part in helping the poor. Some help by repairing their homes or even building them new homes. Others help feed them.
Conservatives do care about the poor, and we help them without all the government red tape and corruption.
It is about the local community taking care of our local poor. The Federal Government has no idea about what our local community needs. Only the local citizens and government know that.
