I remember making $2.10 an hour at the pizza place I worked at. I got excited over a 10 cent raise.
I got way in debit putting myself through college and worked my but off so I wouldn’t have to work minimum wage jobs (And I worked my butt off to pay it all off). If people don’t want to work those kind of jobs making those kinds of wages, they need to take a little inative and hard work to rise above it. I know for a fact there are grants (They don’t have to be paid back) for minorities and poor. I remember enviously seeing them as I got deeper in debit with my loans.
There is no reason why someone flipping burgers should be making the same as someone who busted their butt and worked hard to get out of the minimum wage job category.
