re: I'm so old.....
I remember when I first started posting, one of the questions on Flame was why was there polarization.....Interesting that is has mutated...everyone is older now...more entrenched in their ideologies perhaps. Being older though also means we all have been 'pushed around' by life...and I think we all grow weary...of what we perceive as giving in....and this is our last stronghold, in a manner of speaking.
A quote from one of my all time favorite movies , The Breakfast Club, ...was something along the lines of, "as adults/parents their hearts die"...while a trully sad statement in many respects...it also holds true in many ways.
