I have told her I was thankful she didn’t abort me and that she gave me up for adoption. And we had a couple of months of friendly communications before things went sour.

The problems started when she wanted to come into my life and take over as my mother, pushing my mother out of the picture. I told her she needed to back off, but she wouldn’t and things got ugly.

I don’t know what will happen in the future about this. I was hoping a couple of years of cooling down would help, but it hasn’t.

As for abortion, remember, it was illegal in 1966, and I can’t help the fact it was illegal might have saved my life. That is the main reason I am anti-abortion. I think it would be hypocritical of me to support something that would have killed me 40 years ago, and not giving those like me the chance I had.

And now hearing that she is part of a group that thinks it would have been better to abort their children instead of giving them up (stolen from them, as they see it) for adoption doesn’t help.
