Reading your post I am certain you would not survive long

some of us are a bit more handy. Your scenario is almost laughable.

To be the last person on earth would be very difficult because of the lonliness and I could envision an early death by suicide or natural causes. Group survival under the circumstances you describe would not be that difficult for most people. Most people who have been through a hurricane have survived similar hardships for periods as long or longer than you are talking about.

There are these things they call generators which can easily provide electricity in sufficient quantity to do what ever needs doing. A small group might even live quite well simply by scavenging, but even without the luxury of electric power, animals frequently have natural sources of water and food and believe it or not outside California crops often grow without irrigation.

Living without technology would not be pleasant but to say we would all die if we went back in time a lousy hundred years is silly. Maybe you are joking?

We are spoiled and perhaps some of us are helpless but given the choice of living or dying most of us get off of our ass and survive.
