Usually I'm in tune with your posts.

But in this case, we're out of phase.

If you don't like the term "light pollution" how do you feel about "light trespass"? Trespass is the case where Neighborhood lights shine into your yard/windows. Should a person be allowed any recourse to remedy this intrusion?

One of the arguments for dark skies is: the public has the right to enjoy the wonders of the evening sky- stars, Milky Way, comets etc. I admit it's a fairly weak argument but if coupled with energy savings, it becomes viable.

"Light is shining down on the half the surface of the Earth at all times. Does sunlight pollute the Earth? No way! I happen to LIKE LIGHT".

Comment- ridiculous

"If Raoul or you can't see the sky as well as you would like...tough luck. Move to somewhere you can. But don't try to turn out the lights on the rest of us and expect us to sit and live in darkness just so you can use your scopes."

No one wants to take your precious light away- they just want you to watch where your pointing it and tone down the broad spectrum street lights.

I am no treehugger and I think I can speak for Raoul and I-

You can just kiss our full aperture butts!
