If someone's faith is undermined by studying a religious work as a work of art, his faith isn't worth a damn anyway.
Thou shall not offend
That's been the battle cry of the left for about 30+ years now. Christmas plays and nativity scenes were deemed offensive to non-Christian students- AND REMOVED.
As long as even a handful of Christians find this treatment of their holy book- not faith shaking, but simply offensive, it cant' be implemented without hypocrisy.
