The United States, all parties, all religions, everyone, regarded preventative health care a human and civil right, and available to all citizens as a matter of course. What sort of Universal Health Care could be devised if the US were committed to seeing this basic need was available to all citizens?
As it is, debate over the form of the coverage masks the intent of some to sabotage any change at all. If the issue can be confused and the public frightened, the present dreams of very large corporations can continue uninterrupted.
And what if it were decided to pay for at least part of this by denying public services to all illegal aliens, and deporting each and every one as they became known to authorities? Regardless of the trauma and drama, regardless of sanctuary in churches, people in this country illegally would be deported. Appeals could be filed from their native countries.
And anyone causing an illegal alien to be hired would be imprisoned for two weeks, starting the moment an illegal was found on the payroll. Appeals could be filed after the two weeks.
