If a career choice isn't paying the bills, then maybe a rethink on career choices is in order. I know several hair stylists who are pulling in well of 50k a year. It's in the same line of work as masseuses, but is a bit more mainstream. Most people pay to get their hair done, few pay to get a backrub.
