Remember those? You can go in the back yard and get a rock. But they were huge. Nobody needed to buy a rock. The demand was created. Demand for bread? Yeah, there's that. Demand for a rock? That's created by con men. And much of our economy is based upon stuff we do not need, but, are told to desire.
