Yeah, you can factor that into it. But that's what I, and I believe ER, are pounding on. There is absolutely no reason an epipen should cost $700 when supply cost is $10. Supply exploits what the market will bear out of greed.

Sure, supply and demand describes many markets. But it ignores human nature.
