Meanwhile, permits are refused for new power plants, including those that have no atmospheric emissions. The same environmentalists who demand energy rationing are trying to shut down hydroelectric plants.
"Global warming" has been a godsend to totalitarian thinking. There is almost nothing that cannot be controlled with this given as the reason.
