What exactly is "allocation of resources?" Does it have anything to with the government deciding what we can buy or sell? Controlling wages or prices? Attaching punitive taxes to products and services deemed "ungood?" Dictating the attributes and features of products? Restricting access to resources and land?
Thirty percent of the land in the United States is owned by the Federal government, including almost half of the land in my state. Who "allocates" those resources?
There is not one damn economic belief held by the current leadership of the Democratic Party that was not held by the socialists who hung out on my college campus. Whatever economic freedoms we have left is solely due to the fact that they haven't had the political power to carry out what they want. Yet.
Please let me know which school you studied economics at. I feel a public service announcement coming on.
